Dress up your Neutral Nails!

You can never go wrong with neutral nails, they're an easy look to rock. However, sometimes they can seem too simple for the occasion, so below are 3 ways to take your nails to a new level!

1.Crescent moon nails will always be in style and only take an extra minute or two to painting nails, and are easier than it seems with this quick little trick. Take a piece of masking tape, preferably not clear and about 1 inch, then snip the crescent of desired size.  Paint your nails with a base coat and the solid color layered on top. Wait at least 20 minutes for your nails to completely dry or whip out a hair dryer if you're impatient like me. Firmly press tape onto your nail, especially around the cuticle area. Paint the top section of nail, and wait a few minutes for it to dry before you peel the tape of and VOILA! Repeat for each nail and finish with a  top coat for glossiness and endurance.

2. Glitter! Sparkle, sparkle! Glitter is one of the least sophisticated looks, but a neutral base really adds that classy touch. Begin by applying the neutral base of your choice, I prefer a tan shade for glitter, and layer on that glitter girl! Apply a heavy coat to the bottom of your nail, but don't go overboard, 5 coats at the most, depending on the lacquer you are using. Work the glitter upwards, thinning out the amount of glitter until this only a speckling of the glitter . Personally, I don't recommend going all the way up to the top of your nail, about two-thirds of the way up. As always, finish with your top coat and you're done. Glitter ombre nails add that sparkly touch to your nails, while keeping it classy!

3.The classic french manicure, that we all know and love! But with a twist! Paint your nails with any natural, nude color but instead of a neat, white tip, go with something daring! My personal favorite is a metallic  tip. For a  touch of glossiness, apply a coat of top coat. And, as simple as that, you're done. The best thing about this look is that it matches with every outfit and is quick and easy but a little less simple.

What's your favorite?
